Yes. Send your exam files as PDF attachments to print.it@ls.tum.de at least 3 to 5 days before the date you need them. Our color laser printer prints in color or black and white and double-sided; it can punch 2 or 4 holes and staple on the left or right. Please state the options you need and the number of copies in your email. You will need to show ID when picking them up. For corrections or changes, always reply to the email containing your order’s ticket number; messages that open a new ticket cannot be taken into account. All details are on the Exam printing page.

Informally by email to it-sicherheit@tum.de or – anonymously if you wish – via TUM’s reporting platform. Incidents to report include, for example, the loss of a device containing sensitive data, compromised credentials or security-critical vulnerabilities. Reports are treated confidentially. Yes. We manage LRZ virtual firewalls for chairs and institutions of the TUM School of Life Sciences, set them up and maintain the firewall rules. Contact us at it-support@ls.tum.de. More under Administration.
Log in to the Koinon portal at koinon.tum.de and request the permissions you need in the “Rechtebeantragung” (permission requests) module. Once the head of your department has approved the request, LSIT staff will activate the permissions in TUMonline.
Also via the Koinon portal: log in at koinon.tum.de and request “Mitgliedschaft OMERO-Arbeitsgruppe” (OMERO working group membership) in the “Rechtebeantragung” module.
You reserve the microscopes of the Center for Advanced Light Microscopy (CALM) via the booking system CALM Booking (TUM login required). You first need membership in the OMERO working group, which you request in the Koinon portal (see previous question). More about CALM Booking under Administration – Online platforms.
Also via the Koinon portal: log in at koinon.tum.de and request “TUM TYPO3 - Redakteur | Editor” in the “Rechtebeantragung” module. Approval works the same way as for TUMonline permissions and the OMERO working group: once the head of your department has approved the request, LSIT will activate your access.
Also via the Koinon portal: log in at koinon.tum.de and open the “Zeiterfassung für HiWi” (HiWi time tracking) module. Create the student assistant’s contract there and show them how to use the time tracking. The student assistant then enters their working hours daily in the portal. Guides are available in our wiki.
