Bus connections to and from the Weihenstephan campus
Several bus lines operate between the TUM Weihenstephan campus and other destinations on the public transport network.
The most important are the X660, which connects to the Garching campus, and the 637, 638 and 639 which go to and from Freising train station.
Bus connections between the Weihenstephan and Garching campuses
The express bus X660 connects the two university locations Freising and Garching. It takes about 30 minutes from Weihenstephaner Berg in Freising to the Garching Research Centre with only a few stops in between. From Monday to Friday, the bus runs every 20 to 40 minutes.
The starting point of the line is Weihenstephaner Berg. Via the Freising stops Weihenstephan, Weihenstephaner Straße, Freising railway station and Schlüterstraße, the route then reaches Garching with only three stops in Dietersheim, Mintraching and Achering. The end point of the line is the Garching Research Centre.

Bus connections to Weihenstephaner Berg
The X660 line runs with few stops from Weihenstephaner Berg to Freising station and on to the Garching Forschungszentrum stop and back to Weihenstephaner Berg.
Coming from Freising train station, city bus 639 goes via the Staudengarten stop to Weihenstephaner Berg. Please note that there are a few additional buses that do not go to Weihenstephaner Berg, but only stop at Weihenstephan at the foot of the hill.
Bus connections to station and airport
Bus line 635 runs from the airport, Terminalstrasse Mitte, to Freising and back.
Bus lines 637, 638, and 639 run between the Weihenstephan campus and Freising train station.
