Livestock are a central component of global food systems and are also closely linked to health and environmental issues such as zoonoses, antibiotic resistance, and environmental impacts. The Hans Eisenmann Academy’s online lecture series for the summer semester of 2026 scientifically examines these connections within the One Health framework and addresses risks, conflicting objectives, and policy options.
